Join a group of women pooling their talents to create a beautiful quilt portraying all communities of The Nation Municipality.
The community quilt project was launched in the summer of 2019. Local artists created images depicting life within our villages. The quilt has been assembled and quilters gathered in St-Albert over the fall to work on its first half.
In January 2020, the quilt and the frame will be set up in the Seniors’ Hall of the Caledonia Community Centre in St-Bernardin for approximately two months.
Would you like to take part in this beautiful community patchwork? All material is supplied and you only need to bring your thimble. Dates and times of bees will be determined according to the availability of quilters.
When finished, the quilt will travel and be displayed in the municipality’s community centres.
